When I tried to stream movies to my PS3 using my Windows 7 PC, I thought I had to just enable sharing in Windows Media Player but I couldn't find any options related to that. So I found this solution:

Custom Firmware for PS3 4.11?

There has been many rumors about the making of a custom firmware for PS3 4.11 but many youtube videos have been fake and many download links have surveys that also indicate that they are fake.
